Umbilical
This game is in constant change, and will definitely change more until the final release!

This is a 3rd person game about protecting the connection that joins the playable character and the game camera, also personified as a character.
As I worked on it, my responsibilities were the following:
- Take part in the first public playtest of the existing build, gather data and confront it with the director’s vision.
- Non-Digital Prototypes of gameplay, searching for fun mechanics and puzzles to do with the Camera-Character-Umbilical Cord triad
- Rulesets and guidelines of the proposed mechanics
- Whitebox of a ‘playground area’, where we could playtest it and check different use cases and expand upon them
- “Horror triggers”: small events that we could put in the game and scare the player and test it - lights, sounds, etc

I worked on the design team of this project, together with 2 partners:
Ralph Santos, who took the original concept from the director and designed the build I eventually playtested, and
Vanessa Aguillar, who worked together with me on all the responsibilities above. Steam Page
